10- Arlene Maver

Arlene was a 50s model who often posed with other women (though she definitely stands out). Her entire career seems to have consisted exclusively of a handful of photos taken by Irving Klaw, a merchant of pin-up photographs.

9- Elaine Gallo

A prime example of 60s beauty, Elaine was a showgirl at the Latin Quarter who apparently also worked at a Playboy Club. Surprisingly, she never posed for the magazine, even though she had no trouble bearing all for Peter Basch, who took pictures of the showgirls at the Quarter and presumably asked Elaine for a few solo nude sessions.

8- Peggy Cooper

If you like puffy nipples, Peggy is your girl. Though she seems to have modelled little, she was the cover of several men’s magazines of the late 60s and early 70s.

7- Ellen Silverman

Though she was a bit more chubby than most models of her time, Ellen was certainly not shy about her body, showing every inch of it in magazines.

6- Avril Lund

Better known than most of this list but impossible to leave out, this gorgeous 70s Penthouse model almost always posed outdoors near the sea, with her tan lines in full view.

5- Clorese

Definitely one of the rarest models on this list, Clorese posed for Harrison Marks’ “Kamera” under the name “Sinora Kif”. Though she looks slim and stacked in pics, her career seems to have begun not long before giving birth and ended shortly after, without even posing while visibly pregnant.

4- Sigrid Bachmann/Maria/ Sigrid Kohler/ Marsha Jordan

Sigrid appeared in several men’s magazines from the 70s and always under a different name, which is one of the reasons why it’s often hard to collect content of a lesser-known model. Still, sometimes you get lucky and come across hidden gems like this.

3- Barbara Miller

Another girl of whom there just aren’t enough pics. That said, she appeared in plenty of 70s mags that had the word “boobs” on the title, and also in several that didn’t.

2- Penny Ellington

Penny modelled for less than one year (between ’74 and ’75) and mostly for John Kirk, the photographer responsible for the picture of Roberta Pedon, Rosalie Strauss and Nika Movenka that I showed on my previous article. Still, I cannot imagine any man forgetting a girl like this even if he saw her for only 5 seconds.

1- Karla Klein

Though she modelled during the late 60s and early 70s, Karla would be quite a discovery even nowadays. Magazines being what they were, several (likely fake) stories were told about her, including how she was going to appear in movies, and may even have appeared in at least one. The only credible info I could find was that she was an awesome lay.
