Introduction

As you may know from reading some of Boobsrealm’s posts, there is a “GOAT” competition scheduled for 2027. Naturally, the idea is for readers to pick any busty model they believe worthy of the title, instead of merely those who were active during a given year. As such, I thought some readers might like to know who I personally think would win MBR (per decade), if the contest took place during those times. Bear in mind that this is not necessarily about who had the largest tits, so much as who left the greatest mark on big boob history. Inevitably, some of these names will already be known to those who’ve read my previous articles.

Incidentally, I would also ask our readers to please do a bit of research before they choose their GOATs in 2027. It would defeat the purpose of the competition if we ended up with Merilyn, Tessa, Laurine and whoever becomes popular in ’26/’27 as the finalists.

40s

Winner: Evelyn West

Though probably neither the first burlesque artist to have large breasts, nor the bustiest of her time, Evelyn advertised her boobs to such an extent that men couldn’t help but be intrigued by what they looked like. Perhaps more than any woman before her, Evelyn unapologetically displayed her charms like precious stones to be admired. She also liked to brag about being more curvaceous than the better-known Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell.

Her act often included jokes about her breasts, such as ‘I can tell by your…”eyes”…that you are looking at my shoes’. Sometimes, she’d dance with a ventriloquist dummy while her clothes fell on the floor.

Evelyn’s popularity led many strippers to get nicknames implying they had huge boobs, such as Tempest Storm, Gee Whiz, Anita Ventura, Jenny Lee and Sally the Shape.

Finalists: Cherrie Knight- Burlesque dancer and nude model with a fairly long career.

Jane Russell- A popular busty (for her time) actress who got her debut role in a movie because the director, Howard Hughes, was obsessed with her breasts. Comedian Bob Hope once joked that “Culture is the ability to describe Jane Russell without moving your hands”.

Rita Hayworth- One of the first femme fatales ever to grace the silver screen, she had larger breasts than the vast majority of actresses of her time.

Mae West- Actress, singer and playwright who defied censorship by portraying sexy characters and telling spicy jokes with double entendres.

50s

Winner: Virginia Bell

If you know only a single vintage busty model, it almost certainly is Virginia “Ding Dong” Bell, a very prolific stripper, model and actress who smiled in almost every photo. When she started her career, slim-and-stacked women like her were still pretty rare. As such, men’s magazines that featured her sold like hotcakes and she earned a fortune every time she stripped on stage.

Even though she retired back in 1970, to this day, many men consider Virginia one of their favorite models. Her photos are still popular collectors’ items and often sold at hefty prices.

Finalists: Paula Page- Nicknamed “Two Guns”, Paula had one of the most impressive racks of the 50s and is said to have appeared in over 1,000 magazines.

Donna Mae Brown- The best-known of the “Spider Pool” girls (named after a tiled spider design overlooking a pool in California). Curiously, she hated being called “busty”, even though few 50s models had boobs as big as hers.

Debbie Westmore- Prolific and popular model of her time. Also a Spider Pool girl like Donna.

Rosina Revelle- A gorgeous girl with gorgeous missile breasts whose career ended prematurely because her parents found out about her nude modelling. Otherwise, she could have rivalled Virginia as the discovery of the decade.

Tempest Storm- Started burlesque in the 50s and kept stripping until the 2010s. That’s 60 years of showing her boobs. Perhaps not something you’d want to see someone do at such an advanced age, but you have to admire a woman who saw stripping as a lifelong passion, as opposed to something she only does for a quick buck.

60s

Winner: Uschi Digard

During the late 60s and 70s, the Amazonian Uschi was everywhere: men’s magazines, short striptease clips, wrestling videos (sometimes against men), movies and, of course, numerous photoshoots. Not only that, Uschi was known for always doing her best to improve whatever film she was in, including working as a stunt double and doing dangerous scenes if need be.

Would that Hollywood hired women like her for action films instead of the diminutive, flat-chested actresses that usually get those roles.

Finalists: Cynthia Myers- Playmate of the Month December 1968. One of the most amazing pairs to ever be featured on Playboy. Also very popular among Vietnam soldiers, who would write to her frequently.

Carol Doda- Though her boobs were enhanced, she was the first topless dancer in the US (specifically, San Francisco). In 1965, she was put on trial for obscenity, but was acquitted. The latter verdict helped pave the way for topless dancing to become legal in the States.

Rosa Delmai aka Eve Eden- Rosa wasn’t just a pair of boobs; she also had the prettiest smile ever and a killer set of gams. She appeared in just about every British men’s magazine that was in circulation at the time and had bit roles in many films.

Lorna Maitland- The busty Marilyn Monroe, Lorna was regarded as a rising star after starring in Russ Meyer’s hit movie “Lorna”. In fact, the director fired at the last minute the smaller-breasted actress he had initially chosen for that movie just so he could get this blonde bombshell. As to why her career never took off, there is an article at The Rialto Report about it, though it’s a fairly depressing read.

70s

Winner: Chesty Morgan

Model, actress, burlesque dancer and spectacular woman all around, Chesty was described by director Federico Fellini as a wonder of nature, and it’s hard to disagree. To this day, her breast size has rarely been matched, let alone surpassed, by models both natural and enhanced.

Though this was usually not allowed, Chesty would let audience members touch her breasts during performances to confirm they were real. She saw this as an act of kindness and felt her boobs really belonged to the world.

She’s still alive, and though she sometimes suffers from back pains, she never reduced her breasts.

Finalists: Roberta Pedon- One of the most recognizable faces (and chests) of 70s modelling. Roberta’s remarkable slim-and-stacked figure appeared in dozens of men’s magazines even after she retired. No mean feat considering her relatively short career.

Pam Grier- Pam frequently appeared in exploitation movies, especially women-in-prison films and blaxploitation. More importantly, she was one of the first female action heroes, known for playing assertive women. Though her movies were mostly for a black audience, it’s easy to believe men of all races enjoyed watching Pam kick ass and take her clothes off.

Candy Samples- Very prolific and popular porn star who was active for decades. She was friends with Uschi and, like her, appeared in movies and photoshoots. Both women also shot a g/g video together in 1978.

Dyanne Thorne- Though she had a smaller filmography than Pam Grier, Dyanne also became famous for being a badass woman with huge tits, mainly due to her portrayal of Ilsa.

80s

Winner: Petra Verkaik

Petra started her career in nude modelling by becoming Playmate of the Month for December 1989. In 2001, she was voted the sexiest playmate of the 80s. In 1999, she launched her own website, where she regularly posted photoshoots and videos, until it “died” in late 2019. Despite some difficulties, she still managed to shoot a few new videos until late 2021.

Since she never posed for Score, Nadine-j, Cel or Pinupfiles, she’s been somewhat overshadowed by younger models since the 2010s. However, it’s hard to think of another busty model with a career that spans over three decades and a body that remained in great shape well into her 50s.

Recently, a fan rebuilt her website and offered it to her, meaning it’s not completely impossible that she’ll make a comeback of sorts.

Finalists: Sabrina Salerno- In her heydey, she awakened many men’s interest in boobs after going almost topless for her famous video “Boys”. She still sometimes poses in see-through tops and skimpy bikinis on instagram.

Danica Collins- Had a long career that started in the early 80s and continued until 2013.

Samantha Fox- Page Three Girl of the Year for three consecutive years and one of the best-known busty models of the decade.

Donna Ewin- Another very popular Page Three model. Nicknamed “The Body”. Unlike Sam Fox, Donna still models nude for her onlyfans.

90s

Winner: Danni Ashe

At a time when naturally busty models were few and far between, Danni was one of the few who didn’t succumb to the trend of getting implants. She also launched one of the first adult websites in the web and worked with the bustiest (natural and otherwise) models of the 90s and early 00s. A true pioneer of the adult industry.

Finalists: Alexis Love (aka Joyce Mendel)- 70s model who returned after almost two decades as her boobs had become (even more) massive. In fact, her naturals were bigger than the fake ones of many women.

Aria Giovanni- One of the first models with natural breasts to become popular after the “silicone craze” of the 90s.

Janet Lupo- Another amazing return to modelling. Janet posed for Playboy in 1975, but opened her website in 1998 with new nude photos. Her breasts had lost none of their size, fullness and charm.

Veronika Zemanova-In a subscriber poll on Danni’s website, the Czech model was considered the most popular model (among 350 women), second only to Danni herself.
