Onlyfans backpedaled on their decision to ban porn after sites such as fansly, Pocketstars and Loyalfans saw spike in new creators. However, despite the U-turn many creators have decided to still migrate from the top content sharing platform in the world -until August 2021-.
Call it damage control or just got in their senses, but Onlyfans decided that now banks allowed them to feature porn. Despite the efforts to avoid the exodus creatos have been organizing Twitter Spaces to discuss new platforms and how Onlyfans turned their backs on them.

While I will not go into the tirade against Onlyfans for not caring about their money-makers, I would say it was a stupid move to announce the porn ban when then they were able to negotiate with Visa and Mastercard. There is something we do not know about it yet. Maybe we never will. The bottom line is that Onlyfans will be like MTV. Even if they stay featuring porn, TRUST is the key in a business. Onlyfans broke the trust of thousands and now it will pay the price. Will it be the end of the site? I do not think so, but it will not be what it was in 2020.
What sites will take over?
I did a research and found out that Onlyfans had over 279M unique visitors per month. Their closest competitor Fansly used to get 2.9M. I am sure this has changed; however, it seems that there will not be a big player anymore.
What does this represent for creators?
The top girls will make their money. However, the top 5% or under will not make it in one platform. Managing several platforms will be the save bet, but you need time and resources. Not all girls will be able to maintain that.
It seems that by December the DIY fad will disappear and maybe just maybe we will see the resurgence of Paysites. I was at the Ginger Banks Twitter Space conversation where I listened to a couple of girls saying something along these lines ” we do not know who runs those other platforms. Our private information could be leaked out”. Another model mentioned that she got her info leaked out on a smaller site years ago.

On the glamour Side, girls will still be able to stay. Glamour model Jess Davies had an interesting take, which I disagree with -partially-. Davies said “some girls will be forced to do in-person sex work”. I do think that it may happen to certain girls, but not all girls who get naked online will fuck for money. Plus the ones who would already do lowkey.
The end of the Onlyfans Cinderella story will have another positive. Some guys were contacting rookies to shoot amateur content. The guys were not even legit producers, but they assumed that girls would fuck for money once they get there. While some might, others will never do it. These situations are dangerous for girls who are not able to say “no” as the consequences could be very bad or others who say “no” would be too scared to shoot with anyone ever again. These guys also made many models distrust smaller producers which impacted the business.
What does this mean for BoobsRealm?
I will continue promoting the BoobsRealm Loyalfans. I have to admit that it is even worse than starting again. Many guys do not want to enter their Credit card info on small sites. Others do not want to subscribe to many platforms. I hope-expect- things to get back to normal by December.
Another option I have been contemplating for a while and now it grows stronger is to have my own site. Either Model Centro or have my own site. The first is easier, but would be expensive for fans as there are more costs associated. The latter will have more fixed costs and will require more work. The positive of this one is that the blog and the content will be on the same website. I will elaborate more on this option in the near future. I leave you a poll to get your opinions.
